We stand with the Black community

We have deep concerns with the level of injustice and hurt our Black brothers and sisters have been experiencing. It is unacceptable that decades later we still have not addressed the issue of systemic racism.

We hope that, as a country, we can come together to understand all of the work that is still ahead and to give every person the opportunity to live with dignity and peace.

Here is what we, at Cognira, are doing about it:

• We are encouraging our colleagues to discuss the issues among ourselves, with our friends, families, everyone we know. We have set up a slack channel dedicated to combating racism to facilitate the conversations.
• We are making donations to these two organizations: 100 Black Men and Equal Justice Initiative.
• We will match our colleagues’ donations to any non-profit organization that is focused on these issues.

We will not stop there, rather, we will continue to look for other ways we can contribute to help address the issues.
